A facsimile of 1866 edition, 4to Illust 23p plus adverts. Edition limited to 100 copies of which this is one of twenty that have been bound in green cloth with illustrated title page tipped to front cover.    The original is one of Australia's rarest books on fishing.  At the time of publication it was reported in the Literary Intelligencer as an 'inoffensive burlesque upon the great experiments which we in Tasmania have lately been making towards the acclimatisation of the salmon'.  Signed and numbered.  A very nice item– As new

G Robertson Sydney 1900. Folio oblong, 58p. Green hide grain cloth cover with gilt edges and titles.  Includes seventeen colour plates by the author. As well as his interest in his art Murray has been able to incorporate his other love, for fishing, into several  sections of the publication.  He refers to bream and trout fishing in the Derwent, the Huon and the Great Lake.   Several pages separating from  the spine but overall this is  Good condition.

Fishing for Salmon  in Scotland, Ireland and Nova Scotia, White trout , Sewin or Salmon Peel fishing in Ireland, Wales and Ireland, Sea fly fishing off the Irish and Scottish coast for Pollack, Bass, Mullet and Perch, Pike fishing, Trout and Grayling with recommended flies and their dressings. Text is signed off with  H H. (Horatio Gordon Hutchinson ?)   Spine has been reinforced and has small repair to top.  Corners bumped.  Slight browning and foxing. Very scarce
